Descripción del proyecto
El objetivo del edificio de ingreso al Centro de Interpretación es acercar de una manera, lúdica y educativa, la diversidad y riqueza de las culturas bolivianas y la enorme biodiversidad del país a los visitantes al Parque. Este edificio en esencia contiene una gran rampa, de 75 metros de largo, que conduce al visitante hasta la explanada superior donde se hallan el resto de los edificios del Centro de Interpretación; la Sala Introductoria ha sido desarrollada en este trayecto de baja pendiente, que va contando todo lo que uno encontrará en la explanada superior. Se lo entiende como un gran ambiente de doble altura cuya intención es despertar en el visitante el asombro espacial que viene acompañado de la curiosidad por la museografía existente.
Al atravesar el espacio, siguiendo la rampa, se ha optado también porque la morfología de la edificación responda a una rampa, permitiendo que uno de los extremos aparente estar elevándose por el aire. Este gran volumen está configurado en una especie de media luna de líneas quebradas, acompañándose de grandes ventanales que permiten que el recorrido no sea únicamente acompañado por la museografía que da antesala al Centro de Interpretación, sino que se presenten como ventanas urbanas hacia el parque y la ciudad. El C4 es probablemente la edificación más dinámica del parque y se la ha pensado así para generar un anticipado interés por lo que viene después de este edificio. Funciona de igual manera de límite real y perceptivo entre la explanada del parque y las edificaciones del centro de Interpretación, un gran muro de contención con jardineras colgantes se presenta como límite, así como una escalera irregular que se desprende en sintonía con la morfología del edificio.
Lamentablemente, por recortes presupuestarios, el proyecto no se ha construido y es poco probable que en un futuro próximo pueda verse concretada su realización.

ACCESS BUILDING TO INTERPRETATION CENTER
The purpose of the entrance building to the Interpretation Center is to bring the visitors of the Park closer, in a fun and educational way, to the diversity and richness of Bolivian cultures and the enormous biodiversity of the country. This building essentially contains a large ramp, 75 meters long, which leads the visitor to the upper esplanade where the rest of the Interpretation Center buildings are located; The Introductory Room has been developed on this low-slope path, which tells everything that one will find on the upper esplanade. It is understood as a large double-height environment whose intention is to awaken in the visitor the spatial amazement that is accompanied by curiosity about the existing museography.
When crossing the space, following the ramp, it has also been chosen that the morphology of the building had to respond to it, allowing one of the ends seem to be rising through the air. This large volume is configured in a kind of concave curve made of broken lines, accompanied by large windows that allow the route not only to be accompanied by the museography that precedes the Interpretation Center, but also to be presented as urban windows towards the park and the city.
The C4 is probably the most dynamic building in the park and it has been thought this way to generate an anticipated interest in what comes after this building. It functions in the same way as a real and perceptual limit between the park esplanade and the buildings of the Interpretation center, a large retaining wall with hanging planters is presented as a limit, as well as an irregular staircase that emerges in tune with the morphology of the building.
Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the project has not been built and its completion is unlikely in the near future.
