Descripción del proyecto
Se ha trabajado sobre la base del mayor respeto del edificio patrimonial. Se contrató un especialista para que realizara la especialidad de restauración, conservación de la edificación original. La antigua casa de máquinas del complejo ferroviario de la Estación Central de trenes de La Paz, es el único de los galpones originales de principios de siglo XX que quedan en pie, este edificio responde al carácter longitudinal de los trenes de la época y también responde a las alturas de trabajo. Su puesta en valor, convirtiendo el edificio en una instalación cultural, será uno de los íconos del PCyMT.

THEATER and MULTIPLE SPACE in the former CASA DE MÁQUINAS
The intervention has been done on the basis of the greatest respect for the heritage building. A specialist was hired to carry out the specialty of restoration, conservation of the original building.
The old powerhouse of the railway complex of the Central Train Station of La Paz, is the only one of the original warehouses from the early twentieth century that remain standing, this building responds to the longitudinal character of the trains of the time and also responds to working heights.
Its value, turning the building into a cultural facility, will be one of the icons of the PCyMT.
