Nuestros amigos y dueños del Hotel Villa Antigua tenían una extensión interesante de tierras en Siguayo, en el municipio de Yotala a pocos kilómetros de Sucre. Allí desarrollamos una urbanización que afectara lo menos posible el ecosistema, y en la cresta de este terreno con una vista magistral del entorno y de la Cordillera de los Frailes ubicaríamos su Cabaña de fin de semana. Se desarrollaron dos buenas ideas y nuevamente la idea de un plano suspendido tocó nuestras puertas en una de las opciones; lamentablemente no se pudo desarrollar la urbanización y con ello nuestro proyecto quedó pendiente. Descripción del proyecto
Dentro de un programa sencillo, pero con el deseo de contar con una piscina interior, se desarrollaron ambos proyectos con diferentes búsquedas morfológicas; sin embargo, en ambos casos el diálogo de cada espacio con el exterior, el ingreso de luz cenital, y la búsqueda incansable que la volumetría vista desde lejos aparezca prácticamente perdida en el paisaje han sido los motores de cada propuesta. Se hizo también una reflexión importante sobre la ventilación, por lo que ambas propuestas disponen los espacios funcionales alrededor de patios interiores o encerrados por la arquitectura: dentro de la construcción de paisajes artificiales se utilizaron una serie de taludes que no solo contienen parte de la pendiente del terreno, sino que funcionan como incisiones en el terreno. Finalmente se determinó alinear la vista de los espacios importantes de cada propuesta hacia la Cordillera de los Frailes.

PARTIALLY BURIED CABIN IN SIGUAYO

Our friends and owners of the Hotel Villa Antigua had an interesting extension of land in Siguayo, in the municipality of Yotala a few kilometers from Sucre. There we developed an urbanization that would affect the ecosystem as little as possible, and on the crest of this land with a masterful view of the environment and the Cordillera de los Frailes we would locate their weekend Cabin.Two good ideas were developed and again the idea of a suspended plane knocked on our doors in one of the options; Unfortunately, the urbanization could not be developed and therefore our project stayed pending.
Within a simple program, but with the desire to have an indoor pool, both projects were developed with different morphological searches; However, in both cases the dialogue of each space with the exterior, the entry of overhead light, and the tireless search for the volumetry seen from afar to appear practically lost in the landscape have been the engines of each proposal. An important reflection was also made on ventilation, so both proposals have functional spaces around interior courtyards or enclosed by architecture: within the construction of artificial landscapes, a series of slopes were used that not only contain part of the natural descent of the ground, but function as incisions in the ground. Finally, it was determined to align the view of the important spaces of each proposal towards the Cordillera de los Frailes.
