Descripción del proyecto
La Estación 6 DE MARZO es un edificio de planta irregular y de dos pisos de altura, que acoge en el Nivel de Acceso ambientes públicos de libre acceso, las ventas de boletería y los medios de circulación vertical hacia el Andén, así mismo, posee los ambientes operativos y técnicos asociados a una estación motriz incluyendo el transformador eléctrico de la estación y un Módulo Policial.
El edificio está compuesto morfológicamente por dos volúmenes claramente diferenciados por su uso: el del Andén transparente en la planta superior y sólido en los sectores técnicos de planta baja, y el del Garaje de Cabinas sólido en la planta superior y transparente por el comercio alojado en la planta baja. Se trata de una estrategia de diseño aplicada en la mayoría de las estaciones terminales, que busca lidiar con el carácter público de las estaciones y su contacto con la calle al mismo tiempo que posibilita una transparencia para el uso operacional de la misma.

CABLE CAR TERMINAL STATION MARCH 6 (JACH’A THAKI) – PURPLE LINE

The 6 DE MARZO Station is a building with an irregular plan and two stories high, which welcomes public spaces with free access on the Access Level, ticket sales and vertical circulation means towards the Platform, likewise, it has the operating and technical environments associated with a power station including the station’s electrical transformer and a Police Module.
The building is morphologically composed of two volumes clearly differentiated by their use: that of the transparent platform on the upper floor and solid in the technical sectors of the ground floor, and that of the solid Cabin Garage on the upper floor and transparent for the trade housed in the ground floor. This has been a continuous strategy used by the workshop to deal with two forms of publicity within the stations, that must have a close connection to the street as well as being as transparent as possible in the first floor.
