50. ESTACIÓN TERMINAL de TELEFÉRICO 16 DE JULIO (JACH’A QHATHU) – LÍNEA PLATEADA

En esta estación debíamos dar continuidad al conjunto de estaciones y el desafío estaba en cómo lograr un diálogo entre las dos líneas, sin embargo, con una clara diferenciación de planos y colores. (Daniel)
Descripción del proyecto
El edificio está compuesto formalmente por un volumen en el cual se pueden leer claramente un zócalo sólido conformado que contiene a todas las dependencias de servicio técnico de la línea. La circulación vertical de la línea se realiza por el volumen adyacente de la línea Azul, que sirve de vínculo con la estación de la línea Roja, esta decisión es única en los diferentes nodos de estaciones y busca hacerle frente al estrecho terreno sobre el que se erige. El acceso vehicular al predio estatal colindante que corresponde al Canal de televisión Estatal, es absorbido por el proyecto y se tuvo que diseñar la estación considerando esa información.
Un cuerpo superior refleja sus usos internos a través de la incorporación del tratamiento pixelado de fachada llevando el color de la Línea y las transparencias que sirven de ventanales hacia la ciudad. Su diseño en planta es sumamente claro, para guiar al habitante de una línea a otra sin que se confundan los flujos de personas.

CABLE CAR TERMINAL STATION 16 DE JULIO (JACH’A QHATHU) – SILVER LINE
La Paz, Bolivia
In this station we had to give continuity to the entire complex of stations and the challenge was in how to achieve a dialogue between the two lines, however, with a clear differentiation of planes and colors.
The building is formally composed of a volume in which a solid plinth that contains all the technical service units of the line, clearly read. The vertical circulation of the line is carried out by the adjacent volume of the Blue line, which serves as a link with the Red line station, this decision is unique in the different station nodes and seeks to face the narrow terrain on which it is located. The vehicular access to the adjoining state property that corresponds to the State television channel, is absorbed by the project and the station had to be designed considering that information.
An upper body reflects its internal uses through the incorporation of the pixelated treatment of the façade, bringing the color of the Line and the transparencies that serve as windows towards the city. Its plan is extremely clear, to guide the inhabitant from one line to another without confusing the flows of people.
