Descripción del proyecto
Este Proyecto representa un cambio en la obra del Taller, incorporando influencias de arquitectos como Herzog & De Meuron y la inclusión de pieles y cáscaras en la arquitectura propuesta. El proyecto consiste de un gran prisma que aloja la piscina, diferentes canchas y un comedor (entre otros espacios) de la Sede social y deportiva del Banco Central de Bolivia, un cuerpo pensado a partir de grandes elementos tipo viga prefabricados y una piel pensada para difuminar el sol de tarde. El Taller ganó el Primer Premio en el concurso, sin embargo, con el tiempo, la institución decidió no llevar a cabo la obra.

SOCIAL AND SPORTS HEADQUARTERS OF BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA
La Paz, Bolivia.
This project represents a shift in the firm’s work, incorporating influences from architects such as Herzog & De Meuron and the inclusion of skins and shells in the proposed architecture. The project consists of a large prism housing the swimming pool, diffrent fields, the dining room (among other spaces) of the social and sports headquarters of the Central Bank of Bolivia, a structure conceived from large, prefabricated beam-like elements, and a skin designed to diffuse the afternoon sun. The firm won First Prize in the competition; however, the institution later decided not to proceed with the project.
