Realizamos dos proyectos para un cliente que eventualmente quedaron archivados, sin embargo, pensamos que se trata de dos muy interesantes ideas. Muchas veces la arquitectura es la idea y si no se realiza, creemos, es porque La Paz todavía no quiere cosas así. (Santiago)
Descripción del proyecto
Ambos proyectos pretendían un diálogo con el paisaje que sea el conducto para el espacio. El lote es un espacio relativamente regular en esquina (curva) con fuerte pendiente, por lo tanto, los espacios van descendiendo en el caso del primer proyecto, hacia la parte baja del lote. En el segundo proyecto se optó por ir subiendo desde el acceso hacia la parte superior. Ambos planteamientos morfológicos seguían la lógica de diferentes volúmenes y prismas que se articulaban.

HOUSE IN ALTO AUQUISAMAÑA

We completed two projects for a client that were eventually shelved; however, we believe they represent two very interesting ideas. Often, architecture is just an idea, and if it isn’t realized, we think it’s because La Paz isn’t yet ready for such things. (Santiago)
Both projects aimed for a dialogue with the landscape, using it as a conduit for the space. The lot is a relatively regular corner (curved) space with a steep slope; therefore, the spaces descend in the first project, towards the lower part of the lot. In the second project, the design ascends from the entrance to the upper part. Both morphological approaches followed the logic of different volumes and prisms that were articulated.
